DIVERSIFYING THE WORKFORCE "Given that psychological safety is so fundamental to well-being, we have to ask if it is possible to truly promote well-being in the absence of a more diverse health and well-being workforce." - Sara Johnson, Equity, Justice, and the Role of the Health Promotion Profession in Dismantling Systemic Racism We must recognize the lack of diversity, and the lack of access to resources, in our own industries. To this end, Wellcoaches has joined with leaders from ACE, ACSM, ACLM and the NBHWC to collaborate in addressing increasing racial diversity within our industries and providing opportunities for education in underserved communities. healthCare Alliance for Resources and Equity (CARE) Health Equity Scholarship Apply here UPLIFTING THE UNDERSERVED We believe that pathways to health and well-being are a right and must be accessible by all. We are just starting week #5…I can’t believe it – it seems like time is just flying by. I’m enjoying this class so much. The instructors are a class act, and I am learning a lot about myself and how I can better serve others through health coaching. Let me say…this training is saving my life. Quite literally. The Wellcoaches training is teaching me the skills I need to cope with my wife’s diagnosis, and I’m able to apply these skills (listening, empathy, reflecting, etc.), to how I interact with my wife (and others) during this difficult time. SO, THANK YOU to Wellcoaches, to the amazing trainers, and my learning partners for giving me the help and support I need. AND, I’m learning such valuable life skills…It is just an AMAZING experience so far. Stacy Clark
